Interior design and renovation of a ceramics studio at the Jewish Community Center in the German Colony in Jerusalem The purpose of the renovation was to replace the existing asbestos roof with a light insulated aluminum roof on a steel structure, but at this opportiunity all the infrastructure of the building was renewed, the furniture replaced and a new PVC floor was installed on the Existing floor.
Reorganization of the studio spaces defined a service area with a customer desk, a ceramic oven, etc. In order to save costs all the ceramic cladding – panels / wall cladding in bathrooms etc. were manufactured in the studio and installed by studio employees.
